#392 06-16-64 Provide Public Heraing Public Improvements 64-CP-4 Thru 8•1 24 Resolution No. 392 June 16, 1964 Member Schaphorst introduced and read the following written res- olution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Proposed Concrete Paving With Integral Curb - 64 -CP -4, 64 -CP -5, 64 -CP -65 64 -CP -71 64 -CP -8) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provicions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct certain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council ad- vising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: Total Cost of Improvements: $61,365.78 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the St. Louis Park Dispatch, Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated June 25, 1964, and the last of said publications to be in the paper dated July 2, 1964. All property within the Village which is benefited by the improvements is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the above description, including all property within the described areas and/or abutting on streets or lines described above and including all railroad property and railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or abutting on the above described streets, lines and areas. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets or lines described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed public improve- ments, if any there be.
