#393 06-16-64 Provide Public Hearing Public Improvements 64-WML-623 Thru 73t*0 Resolution No. 393 June 16, 1964 Member Schaphorst introduced and read the following written res- olution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Proposed Water Main - 64-WML-62, 64-WML-65, 64-WML-66, 64-WML-67, 64-WML-68, 64-wML-69, 64-WML-70, 64-WML-71, 64 WML-72, 64-WML-73) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct certain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council ad- vising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: Total Cost of Improvements: $47,526.01 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the St. Louis Park Dispatch, Suburban Press, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated June 25, 1961, and the last of said publications to be in the paper dated July 2, 1964. Such notice shall be in substantially the follow- ing form: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of'the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota will meet on July 7, 19611 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed public improvements. Cost $ 3,124.41 Resolution No. 393 June 16, 1964 In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the proposed improvements, the Village Council proposed to proceed under the authority granted by Chapter 398, Minnesota Laws of 1953, as amended. All property within the Village which is benefited by the im- provements is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the above description, including all property within the described areas and/or abutting on streets or lines described above and including all railroad property and railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or abutting on the above described streets, lines and areas. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets or lines described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed public improvements, if any there be.
