Resolution No. 398 June 16, 1964
Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED
its adoption:
'RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS`'
(64 -DA -11, 20, 21, 24, 41, 48)
64 -DA -11: On Rhode Island Avenue, from Harold Avenue to T.H. #55
64 -DA -20: Alley, between Sunnyridge Lane and Meadow Lane; between
Woodstock Avenue and Poplar Drive
64 -DA -21: On Hampshire Lane, from Green Valley Road to Hampshire Ave.
64 -DA -24: On Gettysburg Avenue North, from Olympia Street to Naper St.
64 -DA -41: On Regent Avenue North, from 33rd to Culver Road
64 -DA -48: On Olympia Street, from Winnetka Avenue to Quebec Avenue
Pursuant to the provision of M.S.A. 429.101 seq., and the provisions of
the Village Code, Section 127.01 et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND
DIRECTED:
1. That the streets described above be improved by dust treatment,
including maintencance work incidental and necessary to such treatment.
Such work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials,
and the employment of day labor.
2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of
such work done on each street, and shall report such information to
the Village Clerk.
3. That on or before September 1, 1964, the Village Clerk shall
prepare an assessment roll, assessing all cost of such work reported
to him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel
of land benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the
Village Council.
All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single in-
stallment, with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent (6%) per
annum.
4. That the Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to trans-
mit forthwith a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member Garis and, upon vote being taken thereon, the follow-
ing members voted in favor thereof: Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, and
Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and
his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
