#401 07-07-64 Approve Advertise Bids 64-CP 4 Thru 8Resolution No. 401 July 7, 1964 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Proposed Concrete Paving With Integral Curb - 64 -CP -4, 64 -CP -5, 64 -CP -6, 64 -CP -7) 64 -CP -8) WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for concrete paving with integral curb (Proposed Concrete Paving With Integral Curb 64 -CP -4, 64 -CP -5, 64-cP-6, 64 -CP -7, 64 -CP -8) and has pre- sented such plans and specifications to the Council for their approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the St. Louis Park Dispatch -Suburban Press, and the Construction Bulletin, as advertisement for bids for making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be pub- lications no less than three weeks before the last day for submission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Village Manager, Clerk and Engineer at 11:00 o'clock A.M. on August 14, 1964, in the Council Chambers and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed withthe Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, money order, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Village Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. Said bids will be considered by the Village Council at its meeting of August 18, 1964, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chamber in the Civic Center. Mayor _ Attest: Village Clerk ' 365 Resolution No. '01 July 7, 1961 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
