#461 12-01-64 Easement Vacation Advertising Creative Center1 1 Resolution No. 461 December 1, 1964 Member Schaphorst introduced and read the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (Easement Vacation -- Utility and Drainage Easements, Advertising -Creative Center) WHEREAS, a Petition of the majority of the owners of real property adjacent to the easement described below has been duly filed with the Village Council and said Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published, and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing that in the interest of the public that a portion of said easement be vacated, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that the portion of the railroad utility and drainage easement as described below, as the same is now laid out and dedicated for public purposes in Block 2 of the Advertising -Creative Center within the corp- orate limits of said Village, be, and the same now is vacated: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 5, Block 2, Advertising -Creative Center; thence Southeasterly along the Southwesterly lines of Lots 5 and 4 to the intersec- tion of a line drawn parallel to and 30 feet West from the East line of said Lot 4; thence North along said parallel line to its intersection with a line drawn paral- lel to and 40 feet Northeasterly from the Southwesterly lines of Lots 4 and 5; thence Northwesterly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line drawn parallel to and 15 feet South from the North line of Lot 5; thence West along said parallel line to its intersection with the Southwesterly line of Lot 5 and there terminating; said tract being that certain Easement heretofore given and dedicated on that certain plat filed with the Hennepin County Register of Deeds as Document No. 3326348 on December 20, 1961, recorded in Book 158 of Plats, page 6. Attest: Village Clerk 4 65 =W) Resolution No. 461 December 1, 1964 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Garis and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, and Schaphorst; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Village Clerk. 1 1 1
