Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its
adoption:
RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT FOR WATER
SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM - CITY OF
CRYSTAL, VILLAGE OF GOLDEN VALLEY AND
VILLAGE OF NEW HOPE, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, the Golden Valley, Crystal and New Hope Joint Water Com-
mission has submitted a proposed contract to the City of Crystal and
the Villages of Golden Valley and New Hope, which proposed contract is
entitled "Addendum to Agreement for Water Supply and Distribution System
- City of Crystal, Village of Golden Valley and
WHEREAS, such Commission recommends the adoption of such addendum
agreement, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the Village of
Golden Valley that this municipality enter into such addendum agreement,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Golden Valley, as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the
public health, convenience, prosperity and general welfare for the
Village of Golden Valley to enter into an agreement dated as of the
1st day of February, 1965, between the City of Crystal, Village of
Golden Valley and Village of New Hope entitled "Addendum to Agreement
for Water Supply and Distribution System - City of Crystal, Village of
Golden Valley and Village of New Hope, Minnesota".
2. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed
to execute such agreement for and on behalf of the Village of Golden Valley.
3. Let a certified copy of this resolution be attached to each copy
of such agreement executed by the officers of this municipality.

Resolution No. 15 March 2, 1965
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded
by Member Schaphorst and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature
attested by the Village Clerk.
