#021 03-16-65 Provide Hearing Improvemetns 65-GG-2 Thru 6 EtcResolution No. 21 March 16, 1965 Member Schaphorst introduced and read the following written resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Proposed Grading and Graveling 65GG-2, 65GG-4, 65GG-5 65GG-6) (Proposed Sanitary Sewer 65LF-1, 65LF-2, 65LF-4 , 65LF-6, 65LF-7) (Proposed Watermain 65WM-1, 65WM-3, 65JM-9, 65 wM-lo, 65WM-12, 65 IM -14, 65` IM -15, 65dM-16) 65JM-17, 65,1,1-181 65WM-19, 6514M-20, 65WM-21, 65WM-22, 6501-23, 65JM-24) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposes to construct certain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: Total Cost of Improvements: $231,237.80. 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of hold- ing a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the GOLDEN VALLEY PRESS, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated April 8, 1965, and the last of said publications to be in the paper dated April 15, 1965. All property -vrithin the Village which is benefited by the improve- ments is proposed to be assessed for such improvements as set forth in the above description, including all property within the described areas and/or abutting on streets or lines described above and including all railroad property and railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or abutting on the above described streets, lines and areas. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets or lines described above,._are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such pro- posed public improvements, if any there be.
