#032 04-20-65 Approve Bids 65-LF-1 Thru 7Resolution No. 32 April 20, 1965 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Proposed Sanitary Sewer 65LF-15 65LF-25 65LF-41 65LF-5, 65LF-6, 65LF-7 ) WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for proposed sanitary sewer (Proposed Sanitary Sewer 65LF-1, 65LF-21 65LF-4, 65LF-5, 65LF-6, 65LF-7) and has presented such plans and spec- ifications to the Council for their approval, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Golden Valley Press, and the Construction Bulletin, an advertise- ment for bids for making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once in each of said publications no less than three weeks before the last day for submission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Village Manager, Clerk and Engineer at 11:00 o'clock a.m., on May 28, 1965, in the Council Chambers and that no bids shall be considered unless sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, money order, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Village Clerk for five percent (50) of the amount of such bid. Said bids will be considered by the Village Council at its meeting on June 1, 1965, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber in the Civic Center. 1 Car Nadasdy, Mayor ATTEST: ell Helen Penniman, Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and, upon a vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1 115
