#035 04-20-65 Vacate Portion of Phoenix Street48 Resolution No. 35 April 20, 1965 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION (Street Vacation - Portion of Phoenix Street) WHEREAS, a Petition of the majority of the owners of real property adjacent to the street described below has been duly filed with the Village Council and said Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published,and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing that in the interest of the public that said portion of said street be vacated, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that the portion of the public street lying within the corporate limits of said Vil]Age as described below, as the same is now laid out and dedicated within the said limits of the said Village, be, and the same now is hereby vacated: That portion of Phoenix Street described as beginning at the northeasterly corner of outlot 1, Lindsay's Addition, thence southeast- erly along the east line of outlot 1, Lindsay's Addition to the north line of Lot 4, Block 2, Hipps Addition, thence northeasterly along the north line of said Lot 4, Block 2, Hipps Addition and Lot 3, Block 2, Hipps Addition to a point 60 feet south of the south line of Lot 12, Block 1, Hipps Addition, thence west on a line to the point of beginning in Section 33, Township 118, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota. r +. yor ATTEST: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Garis and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1
