Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS
(65 -DA -18, 25, 263 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 343 35, 38, 39 &40)
65_DA-18: On Hampshire Avenue from Hampshire Lane to Hampshire Place
On Hampshire Place from Douglas Drive to Hampshire Avenue.
65 -DA -25: On Knoll from Winnetka Avenue to Sumter Avenue North.
65 -DA -26: On Sumter from Knoll Street to Winsdale Street.
65 -DA -28: On Rhode Island from Knoll Street to Winsdale Street.
65 -DA -29: On Sumter Avenue North from Winsdale Street to Olympia Street.
65 -DA -30: Castle Court.
65 -DA -31: On Winsdale Street from Winnetka Avenue to Quebec Avenue North.
65 -DA -32: On Hampshire Lane from Green Valley Road to Hampshire Avenue.
65 -DA -33: On Kelly Drive from Plymouth Avenue to Olympia Street.
65 -DA -34: On Gettysburg from Plymouth Avenue to Naper Street.
65 -DA -35: On Rhode Island from T. H. ##12 North to Laurel Avenue.
65 -DA -36: On Sandberg Lane.
65 -DA -38: On Olympia Street North between Hampshire and Jersey Avenue.
65 -DA -39: On Rhode Island Avenue North from 6th Avenue North to T.H. ##55.
65 -DA -40: On Quebec Avenue from Plymouth Avenue to Winsdale Street,
On Winsdale Street from Quebec to Pennsylvania Avenue North.
Pursuant to the provision of M.S.A. 129,101 seq., and provisions of
the Village Code, Section 127.01 et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND
DIRECTED:
1. That the streets described above be improved by dust treat-
ment, including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such
treatment. Such work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary
materials and the employment of day labor.
2. That the Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of
such work done on each street, and shall report such information to
the Village Clerk.
3. That on or before September 1, 1965, the Village Clerk shall
prepare an assessment roll, assessing all cost of such work reported
to him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of
land benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the
Village Council.
All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single
installment, with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent (6%)
per annum.
4. That the Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to
transmit forthwith a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member Schaphorst and, upon vote being taken thereon, the
following members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy,
Schaphorst, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same;
None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
