#066 06-30-65 Canvass Returns Special ElectionResolution No. 66 June 30, 1965
Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS ON BOND
QUESTION SUBMITTED AT SPECIAL ELECTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, Minnesota, that the special election held in and for said Village
on June 29, 1965, has been in all respects duly conducted pursuant to notice
thereof duly posted and published, and the returns thereof have been canvassed
by this Council in accordance with law, and it is hereby found and determined
that the votes cast upon the bond question submitted to the electors at said
election were as follows:
Shall the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley
borrow money and issue its negotiable coupon general obli-
gation bonds in an amount not exceeding $185,000, for the
purpose of development and improvement of park properties
and recreational areas?
