#078 07-20-65 Provide Hearing Improvement 65-WM-29 Thru 35117 Resolution No. 78 July 20, 1965 Member Flannagan introduced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT (65-WM-29, 30, 31 & 35) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Sessions Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct a certain proposed public improvement within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way the proposed public improvement is feasible and that it should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvement as follows: Total Cost of Improvement: $37,681.72. 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in THE GOLDEN VALLEY PRESS, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated August 5, 1965, and the last of said publications to be in the paper dated August 12, 1965. Such notice shall be in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROPOSED WATERMAIN (65 WM-29, 30, 31 & 35) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on August 17, 1965, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed public improvements. The Village Engineer estimates that the entire cost of the improve- ment will be $37,681.72. The type of improvements and the areas where said improvements will be constructed and which they serve are as follows:
