#095 08-17-65 Approve Bids 65-CP-3142 Resolution No. 95 August 17, 1965 Member Schaphorst introduced the follovring resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Proposed Concrete Paving 65 -CP -3) I,R EREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for Concrete Paving (Proposed Concrete Paving 65 -CP -3) and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for its approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the GOLDEN VALLEY PRESS and the CONSTRUCTION BULLETIN, an advertisement for bids for making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once in each of said publications no less than three weeks before the last day for submission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Village Manager, Clerk and Engineer at 11:00 o'clock a.m., on September 17, 1965, in theCouncil Chambers and that no bids shall be considered unless sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, money order, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Village Clerk for five per cent (51"0') of the amount of such bid. Said bids will be considered by the Village Council at its meeting on September 21, 1965, at 8:00 o'clock, p.m., in the Council Chamber in the Civic Center. fiv Mayor Attest: Village Clerk ROBERT M.
