#143 04-05-66 Provide Hearing Improvements 66-SC-1Resolution No. 143 April 5, 1966 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption. RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC FEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Proposed Seal Coat - 66 -SC -1) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct certain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: Total Cost of Improvements: $24,130.40. 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in THE GOLDEN VALLEY PRESS, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated April 21, 196631 and the last of said publications to be in the paper dated April 28, 1966. Suc notice shall be in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS SEAL COAT (66 -SC -1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on May 3, 1966, at 8:00 p.m. at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed public improvements. The Village Engineer estimates that the entire cost of the improvement will be $24,130.40.
