#159 05-17-66 Approve Bids 66-LF, 66-WM, 66-LF2 thru 11 EtcResolution No. 159 May 17, 1966 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Proposed Sanitary Sewer 66 -LF - Proposed Watermain 66 wII) (66 -LF -2, 33 45 51 6, 75 8, 10 and 11) (66=uai-11 25 45 51 63 71 8, 91 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 18) WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for proposed sanitary sewer and watermain construction (Proposed Sanitary Sewer 66 -LF - Proposed Watermain 66-W14) and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for its approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the GOLDEN VALLEY PRESS and the CONSTRUCTION BULLETIN an Advertisement for Bids for making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once each in said publications no less than three weeks before the last day for submission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that no bids shall be considered unless sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, money order, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Village Clerk for five per cent (5%) of the amount of such bid. Said bids will be considered by the Village Council at its meeting on June 21, 1966, at 8:00 o'clock, p.m., in the Council Chamber in the Civic Center. Mayor Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Garis, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Schaphorst, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk. 1 251
