Resolution No. 171 June 7, 1966
Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its
adoption:
RESOLUTION
(Order for Installation of Traffic Control Signals)
WHEREAS, the Police Department, the Engineering Department and the
State Highway Department have recommended to this Council that the right turn
onto June Avenue from Trunk Highway No. 12 within the Village be so restricted
to as to preclude such right turns between the hours of 7:00 o'clock and
9:00 o'clock, A.M., NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley
that it hereby orders the Engineering Department and Police Department, subject
to such further approval as may be necessary from other regulatory bodies,
including the State Highway Department, to post a traffic control sign on
eastbound Trunk Highway No. 12 within the Village of Golden Valley, at its
intersection with June Avenue, which sign will preclude right turns onto the
said June Avenue from the said Trunk Highway No. 12 during the hours from
7:00 o'clock and 9:00 o'clock, A.M.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded
by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor
thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following
voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
