#200 08-02-66 Order Improvements Lighting 66-RSL-14A307 Resolution No. 200 August 2, 1966 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Residential Street Lighting - 66 -RSL -14A) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 8:00 o'clock, p.m., at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the view of all persons interested and being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public imporvements for said Villa ge, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice, except as follows: The revised street lighting district is described as follows: All lots, tracts or parcels contained within the followind described line; beginning at the intersection of the center line of Golden Valley Road and the west right-of-way line of T H 100, thence north along the west right-of-way line of T H 100 to the center line of CSAH 66 (Duluth Street), thence westerly along the center line of CSAR 66 (Duluth Street) to the center line of Bassett's Creek, thence southwesterly along the center line of Bassett's Creek to its inter- section of the west line of Lot 20, Auditors Subdivision No. 346, thence southerly and easterly along the westerly and southerly lines of said Lot 20, Auditors Subdivision No. 346 to the west line of Registered Land Survey #35, thence southerly along the westerly No. RLS 35 to the center line of Golden Valley Road, thence easterly along the center line of Golden Valley Road to the Point of be- ginning. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in report of the Village Engineer heretofore made to the Council and not in connection with some other improvement (the Council reserves the right to consolidate said improvements with other public improvements if it seems advisable to do so.) 3• The cost of said improvements shall be paid out of special assess- ments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The Northern States Power Company is hereby designated to construct siad proposed public improvements and is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements and to submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date. 308 Resolution No. 200 Mayor Attest: Village Clerk August 2, 1966 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan and upon vote being taken thereon the following members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi;and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1 1
