Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZIItiTG CONTRACT CHANGES PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA
STATUTES 429.041, SUBD. 7
(Proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvements -66 -LF -13,
66 -LF -14, and 66 -LF -15)
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications
for sanitary sewer construction and has presented such plans and specifications
to the Council for their approval, NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved.
2. WHEREAS, a certain contract was entered into June 21, 1966, with
GL Contracting, Inc., and Union Central Contracting, Incorporated, for public
improvements 66 WM and 66LF, and awarded on a unit price basis with a total
contract price of $169,960.00; and
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1966, the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley did order construction of proposed public improvements 66 -LF -13,
66 -LF -14, and 66 -LF -15; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid improvements 66 -LF -13, 66 -LF -14, and 66 -LF -15
do not, on the same price basis, exceed 250 of the original contract price;
The Mayor and the Village Clerk
contract of June 21, 19663 awarded to
Contracting, Incorporated, for 66-WM
units of work at the same unit price
improvements 66 -LF -13, 66 -LF -1l., and
have furnished the contractors' bonds
as required by law.

GL Contracting, Inc., and Union Central
and 66 -LF so as to include the additional
providing for the construction of public
66 -LF -15 when the said contractors shall
in the amount of the additional work

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member Flannagan, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature
attested by the Village Clerk.
