#205 08-02-66 Provide Hearing Improvemetns 66-WM-21 Thru 27 Etc�14 Resolution No. 205 August 2, 1966 Member Garis introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN? PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Proposed Watermain 66-WM-213 25, 26 and 27; Proposed LF -18, 19) and (Proposed Concrete Paving 67 -CP -3, 4) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Sessions Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct certain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: $255,269.80 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in THE GOLDEN VALLEY PRESS, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated August 25, 1966, and the last of said publications to be in the issue dated September 1, 1966. Such notice shall be in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Proposed Watermain - 66-14M-211 25) 26 & 27 Proposed Sanitary Sewer - 66 -LF -18 & 19 Proposed Concrete Paving - 6q -CP -3 & 4) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on September 6, 1966, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on certain proposed public improvements. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets or lines described above, are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed public improve- ments, if any there be.
