#228 10-04-66 Approve Bids 66-BS-52353 Resolution,To. 228 October Lt, 1966 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVIN?G PLANS AND SPECIFICATIOi.`S AND ORDERING ADVERTISFH,;TT FOR BIDS (Proposed Bituminous Surfacing) (66 -BS -52) V=REAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for proposed street improvement construction consisting of bituminous surfacing - (Proposed Bituminous Surfacing - 66-7jjS-52) and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for its approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley: 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in TI -E GOLDEN VALLEY PRESS and THE CONSTRUCTI0N BULLETIN an Advertisement for Bids for the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once in each of said publications no less than ten (10) days before the last day for submission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids shall be opened and considered by the Village Manager, Clerk and Engineer at 11:00 o'clock,A.M., on December 2, 1966 in the Council Chambers and that no bids shall be considered unless sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, money order, cashier's check bid bond or certified check payable to the Village Clerk for five per cent (5%) of the amount of such bid. Said bids will be considered by the Village Council at its meeting on December 7, 1966, at 7:30 o'clock, p.m., in the Council Chambers -in the Civic Center. yor Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Flannagan, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: done, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
