#234 10-04-66 Adopt Budget and Tax Levy360 Resolution No. 234 October 4, 1966 Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION ADOPTII?G THE BUDGET FOR 1967 AND ESTABLISHING THE VILLAGE PROPERTY TAX LEVY FOR 1966 1,1HEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of M.S.A. 112.701 and 412.7111, the Village Manager has prepared the estimates for the annual budget for 1967 and has presented such estimates to the Council for their approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That such estimates as amended by the Council be approved and adopted as the budget for 1967. 2. That the Village Manager is authorized and directed to enforce all provisions of said budget. 3. That the Village Clerk is authorized and directed to advise the County Auditor that the Village of Golden Valley requests the Auditor to raise the sum of $619,747.00 through real and personal property taxes for general purposes, plus the sum of $3,200.00 for Poor Relief, the sum of one-tenth mill for Fire Department Relief Association and $70,650.00 for Watermain Construction and to further advise theAuditor that the above sum includes the necessary levies for Hennepin County Parks and for Public Employees Retirement Association. Mayor Attest: R Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stockman and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk. 1
