#240 10-04-66 Approve Contract Changes 66-LF-9, 20, 21367 Resolution 'No. 210 October 4, 1966 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING CONTRACT CHANGES PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES 429.01, SURD. 7 (Proposed Sanitary Sewer - 66 -LF-; 20 & 21) 1,=REAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the sanitary sewer construction and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for its approval, NOW, TIPRErORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley: 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. WHEREAS, a certain contract was entered into June 21, 1966, with GL Contracting, Inc., and Union Central Contracting, Inc., for public improvements 66-101- and 66 -LF and awarded on a unit price basis with a total contract price of $169,960.00; and "v-M,REAS, on October 18, 1966, the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley did order construction of proposed public improvements 66 -LF -9;--20 & 21; and 20 & 21 WI-3EREAS, the aforesaid improvement 66-LF-9./does not, on the same price basis, exceed 250 of the original contract price; The Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized to change the contract of June 21, 1966 awarded to GL Contracting, Inc., and Union Central Contracting, Inc., for 66-titZl and 66 -LF so as to include the additional units of work at them it price providing for the construction of public improvement 66 -LF -9 /w en Ue said contractor shall have furnished the contractor's bond in the amount of the additional work as required by law. Mayor Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Garis and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Flannagan, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
