#243 10-18-66 Waive Hearing Improvements 66-RSL 11370 Resolution No. 243 October 18, 1966 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION WAIVING THE PUBLIC HEARING PURSUANT TO MIT\1NESOTA STATUTES 429.031, SURD. 3 AND ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (66 -RSL -11) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. WHEREAS, all the owners of real property affected by public improvements 66 -RSL -11 and abutting upon any street named as the location of s6.id improvements have petitioned the Council to construct the improvements and to assess the entire cost against their property, it is hereby found and determined that public hearing is not necessary pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.031, Subd. 3. 2. Being fully advised of the pertinent facts, this Council does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of the proposed public improvements for said Village in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in the petition and waiver of right to public hearing. 3. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible (the Council reserves the right to consolidate said improve- ments with such other improvements as it may deem advisable to do). 4. The cost of said improvements shall be paid out of special assessments to be levied as authorized by law. 5. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of said proposed public improvements and is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date.
