#245 10-18-66 Approve Contract Changes #429.041. SUBD. 7373 Resolution Ivo. 215 October 18, 1966 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVIiG PLANS AID SPECIFICATIOTS AND AUTHORIZING CONTRACT CHANGES PURSUANT TO MIIINITESOTA STATUTES 429.041, SURD. 7 (Proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvements 66 -LF -22) MIIEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for sanitary sewer construction and has presented such plans add specifications - to the Council for their approval, NOW, TI-EREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley: 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. WHEREAS, a certain contract was entered into September 6, 1966, with Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. for public improvements 66-1,,PM-211 25, 26 and 27 and 66 -LF -18 and 19, and awarded on a unit price basis with a total contract price of p91,,027.45; 1,MREAS, on October 18, 1966, the Village Council of the Village of Cjolden Valley did order construction on proposed public improvements 66 -LF -22; and .,=,REAS, the aforesaid improvement LF -22 does not, on the same price basis, exceed 25;1' of the original contract price: The Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized to change the contract of September 6, 1966, awarded to Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. for 66-111,11-211 25, 26 and 27 and 66 -LF -18 and 19 so as to include the additional units of work at the same unit price providing for the construction of public improvement 66-11-22 when the said contractor shall have furnished the contractor's bond in the amount of the additional work as required by law.
