#271 02-21-67 Authorize Conveyance Tax Forfeited Land 641-CM Resolution No. 271 February 21, 1967 Member Garis introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEITED LAND (List 11641-C") WHEREAS, it appears that certain parcels of land have been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes, and said parcels are needed by the Village of Golden Valley for street purposes, and park purposes, and ponding purposes, said lands presently being used for street purposes, park purposes, and ponding purposes and having been used for several years: NOW 5THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that the Mayor and Village Clerk be hereby authorized to make application to the County Board of Hennepin County and the State Tax Commiss- ioner for the conveyance of the following described parcels of Tax -Forfeited land to the Village of Golden Valley for Street, park and ponding purposes: For Street Purposes: Registered Land Survey Sec. 86270 Parcel 8000 No. 648 - Tract T For Ponding Purposes: Mary Hills - 86000 Sec. 4 Block 3 Parcel 4765 For Park Purposes: First Addition Lakeview Sec. 1 Block 2 Parcel 950 Heights - 85400 Sec. 7 Block 2 Parcel 1250 Sec. 8 Block 2 Parcel 1300 Sec. 9 Block 2 Parcel 1350 Sec.10 Block 2 Parcel 1400 Sec.11 Block 2 Parcel 1450 Sec.12 Block 2 Parcel 1500 IL:�a�)Lha" Ca . Nadasdy, Mayor Attest: Helen enni.man, Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stockman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
