#291A 05-02-67 Provide Improvements Storm Sewer 67-SS-5Resolution No. 291A May 2, 1967 Member Teresi introduced and read the following written resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Proposed Storm Sewer - 67 -SS -5) BE IT RESOLVED BY the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398, Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct certain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice in- cluded in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: $118,098.58 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvement as described therein. 4* The clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in THE GOLDEN VALLEY PRESS, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated June 8, 1967, and the last of said publications to be in the issue dated June 15, 1967. Such notice shall be in substantially the following form: (Official Publication) NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED PULBIC IMPROVEMENT STORM SEWER - 67 -SS -5 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on June 19, 1967 at 8:00 o'clock, P.M., in the Council chambers of the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said Village for the purpose of holding a public hearing on a proposed public improvement. The Village Engineer estimates that the entire cost of the improvement will be $148,098.58.
