#308 06-07-67 Order Dust Treatment 67-DA-7 Thru 1673 Resolution No. 308 June 7, 1967 "RESOLUTION ORDERING DUST TREATMENT FOR CERTAIN STREETS" (67 -DA -7, 10, 11, 12, 1�, 14, 15, 16) 67 -DA -7: On Georgia Ave. from Glenwood Avenue to Westchester Circle. 67 -DA -10: On Thotland Road from Lilac Drive to Toledo Avenue North. 67 -DA -11: On Rhode Island from Laurel Ave. South to Wayzata Boulevard. 67 -DA -12: On Sandburg Lane from North line of Sandburg Jr. High School to Medicine Lake Road. 67 -DA -13: On Phoenix Street between Florida & Douglas Drive. 67 -DA -14: On Rhode Island Ave. from Harold Avenue to T.H. #55. 67 -DA -15: On Idaho Ave. from Glenwood Ave. to Western Ave. 67 -DA -16: On Independence Ave. from Olympia to Naper. Pursuant to the provision of M.S.A. 129,101 seq., and the provisions of the Village Code, Section 127.01 et seq., IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DIRECTED: 1. That the streets described above be improved by dust treatment, including maintenance work incidental and necessary to such treatment. Such work shall be done by direct purchase of the necessary materials and the employment of day labor. 2. That the,Village Engineer shall keep a record of the cost of such work done on each street, and shall report such information to the Village Clerk. 3. That on or before September 1, 1967, the Village Clerk shall prepare an assessment roll, assessing all cost of such work reported to him by the Village Engineer against each separate lot and parcel of land benefited by such work, and shall present said roll to the Village Council. All of such special assessments shall be payable in a single installment with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum. 4. That the Village Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to transmit forthwith a copy of this resolution to the Village Engineer. M Attest: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Bies and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman and Teresi; and the fol- lowing voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
