#311 06-07-67 Maintenance of Traffic Signals1 1 rj Resolution No. 311 June 7, 1967 Member Stockman introduced and read the following resolution: RESOLUTION (Maintenance of Traffic Signals) WHEREAS, there are presently located on State Trunk Highway #55 at the intersection of said highway with Winnetka Avenue and also at the inter- section of the highway with Douglas Avenue, certain traffic control signal devices; and WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota is willing to undertake maintenance of said traffic control signals upon appropriate authorization from this Village, provided that the Village of Golden Valley reimburses the State of Minnesota for the cost thereof, Now, Therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that it hereby authorizes the State of Minnesota to maintain those certain traffic signal control devices located at the intersection of State Trunk Highway #55 and Winnetka Avenue and also at State Trunk High- way #55 and Douglas Avenue, for and on behalf of the Village of Golden Valley,; and RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the State said maintenance by the Village of Golden cost involved in said maintenance. Attest: Village Clerk of Minnesota be reimbursed for Valley according to the actual Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Garis, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi; and the fol- lowing voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
