#327 08-01-67 Sale Park and Recreation BondsResolution No. 327 August 1, 1967 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF $1,350,000 PARK AND RECREATION AREA BONDS OF 1967 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin Coutny, Minnesota, that the bid of Piper, Jaffray & Hopwood and associates of Minneapolis, Minnesota for $1,350,000 Park and Recreation Area Bonds of 1967 of said Village, dated August 1, 1967, at a price of $ Par, the bonds maturing in the years shown below to bear interest at the respective rates per annum set forth opposite such maturity years, as follows: Years of Maturity Interest Rate 1969/1980 4.10% 1981/1989 4.30 1990/1997 4.40 principal and interest to be payable at the main office of Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and to be issued in accordance with the notice of bond sale heretofore duly published, is here- by found and eclared to be the highest and best bid received pursuant to ad- vertised notice of sale of said bonds, and is hereby accepted. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract on behalf of the Village with said bidder for the sale of said bonds. The Village Clerk is directed to retain the good faith check of said successful bidder and to return all other good faith checks forthwith. yor Attest: MR,/i//% N� The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stockman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Carl.J.Nadasdy, John L. Bies, Gordon Garis, R. B. Stockman and Cliff Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, and was signed by the Mayor, which was attested by the Clerk. 1
