#350 09-19-67 Convey 1321 Orkla Drive13 1. Resolution No. 350 September 19, 1967 Member Bies intrduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, James L. Winfrey and Shirlee J. Winfrey have conveyed to James W. Copeland and Joan M. Copeland certain real estate located at 1321 Orkla Drive in Golden Valley, which property is legally described as: Lot 4, Block 9, "Golden Oaks Second Addition," EXCEPT that part of Lot 4 lying Westerly of a line drawn from a point on the Northerly line of said Lot 4 distant 154.7 feet Easterly from the most Westerly corner of said Lot 4 to a point on the Southwesterly line of said Lot 4 distant 206.57 feet Southeasterly from the most Westerly corner of said Lot 4, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Hennepin Coutny, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, Section 14 of the platting regulations of the Village of Golden Valley restricts the making and recording of conveyances of land described by metes and bounds; and WHEREAS, the above mentioned eonveyance violates the provisions of Section 14 of said Platting Regulations and the property owners have re- quested a waiver thereof; and WHEREAS, failure to comply does not interfere with the purpose of the Platting Regulations and the Planning Commission has approved the with- in waiver; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that compliance with Section 14 of said Platting Regulations is hereby waived with respect to conveyances of the property described above, and all past and future conveyances of said property by the above description are hereby approved, and the divison of the said Lot 4 is hereby approved. Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Stockman and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor therof: Bies, Stockman & Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
