#362 10-17-67 Street Vacation Champlain StreetResolution No. 362 October 17, 1967 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and,MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (Street Vacation - Champlain Street) WHEREAS, a Petition of the majority of the owners of real property adjacent to the streets described below has been duly filed with the Village Council, and said Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing that in the interest of the public that said public street be vacated, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that said public street lying within the corporate limits of said Village as described below, as the same is now laid out and dedicated within the said limits of the said Village, be and the same now is hereby vacated: All of Champlain Street as laid out and platted in Academy Acres and lying between the Northerly extensions of the East line of Lot 1 and the West line of Lot 7 in said addition. All in North one-half of Section 31, T. 1189 R. 21, Hennepin County. 1 Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bies and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor therof: Bies, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1
