#378 12-06-67 Rescind Bids Grading and Graveling 66-GG-1, 2464 Resolution No. 378 December 6, 1967 Member Stockman introduced and read the following resolution: RESOLUTION (Rescinding Resolution Ordering Advertisement For Bids Respecting a Certain Proposed Public Improvement) (Proposed Grading and Graveling - 66 GG 1 & 2) WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, at a regularly scheduled meeting on May 17, 1966, following a public hearing on that date duly called as required by law, adopted a resolution Ordering Construction of Certain Propoeed Public Improve- ments (Proposed Grading & Graveling - 66 GG 1 & 2); and WHEREAS, the Village Council, at the afore -referenced meeting, also adopted a resolution Ordering Advertisement for Bids respecting the aforesaid Proposed Public Improvement (Proposed Grading and Graveling - 66 GG 1 & 2); and WHEREAS, the Village Council published and Advertised for bids as duly required by law, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Golden Valley, having exercised its right to reject any or all bids, finds it to be in the best interest and economy of the Village to recind the Resolution Ordering Advertisement for Bids and to re -order the work done by Day Labor as respects that certain proposed public improvement hereinabove referred to an Proposed Grading and Graveling - 66 GG 1 & 2). Mayo Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bies, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
