#383 12-19-67 Waive Public Hearing Grading and Graveling 68-GG-1Resolution Sdo, 383 December 19, 1967 Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIOiq WANING THE PUBLIC HEARING PURSUANT TO MIgTESOTA STATUTES 429.031, SUBD. 3 AND ORDERING COI3STRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (P roposed Grading and Graveling 68 GG 1) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: I. ;M, REAS, all the owners of real property affected by public improvement 68 GG 1 and abutting upon any street named as the location of said improvement have petitioned the Council to construct the improvement and to assess the entire cost against their property, it is hereby found and determined that a public hearing is not necessary pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.031, Subd. 3. II. Being fully advised of the pertinent facts, this Council does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of the proposed public improvements for said Village in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in the petition and waiver of right to public hearing. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvement is feasible. (The Council reserves the right to consolidate said improve- ment with such other improvements as it may deem advisable to do.) IV. The cost of said improvement shall be paid out of special assessments to be levied as authorized by law. V. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of said proposed public improvement and is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvement and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date. qC6& \�ItL4 Mayor ATTEST: Village Clerk 170 Resolution No. 383 December 19, 1967 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Bies, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bies, Garis, iaadasdy, Stocsman, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk. 1
