#400 02-20-68 Approve Bids Watermain, Sanitary Sewer 68-WM-2, 68-LF-3200 Resolution No. 400 February 20, 1968 Member Stockman introduced and read the following written resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (Propoesed Watermain and Sanitary Sewer - 68 WM 2 and 68 LF 3) WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for proposed watermain and sanitary sewer construction (Proposed Watermain and Sanitary Sewer - 68 WM 2 and 68 LF 3) and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for its approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley: 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in THE GOLDEN VALLEY PRESS an Advertisement for Bids for making such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once in said publication no less than three weeks before the last day for submission of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids shall be opened and considered by the Village Manager, Clerk and Engineer at 11:00 o'clock, A.M., , 1968, in the Council chambers and that no bids shall be considered unless sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, money order and cashier's check, bid'bond or certified check payable to the Village Clerk for five per cent (5%) of the amount of such bid. Said bids shall be considered by the Village Council at its meeting on , 1968, at 7:30 o'clock, P.M., in the Council chambers in the Civic Center. Mayor Attest: ��rllt, Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Garis and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Bies, Carlson, Garis, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
