Resolution No. 413 April 2, 1968
Member Stockman introduced and read the following written resolution and
MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION
Authorizing the Acquisition by Purchase or Condemnation
(Tenth Avenue North)
WHEREAS, it appears that it is necessary and desirable to acquire the
real estate hereinafter described for sewer and water right-of-way and
easement purposes; and
WHEREAS, it appears that said real estate has a fair and reasonable
market value not to exceed four thousand one hundred dollars ($4,100.00):
and
WHEREAS, the axquisition of said real estate through direct purchase
or condemnation appears to be desirabel and reasonable, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley
that that certain real estate described below be acquired by purchase or
condemnation and the Mayor, the Village Clerk and Village Attorney are
hereby authorized and directed to take all nexessary steps and to execute
the necessary documents in connection with the acquisition of said real
estate, described as follows, to -wit:
All of that part of the Northeast Quarter (NE%) of the
Southeast Quarter (SE%) of the Northwest Quarter (NWk)
of Section 31, Township 118, Range 21, lying East of
the Northerly Extension of the East Line of Lot Five (5),
Block Two (2), Golden Valley Industrial Park and lying
North of the Easterly Extension of the North Line of
said Lot Five (5), (exclusive of portion used for
Boone Avenue North).
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the acquisition of the above described
land is necessary and desirabl6 and the purposes aforesaid for which
said lands are to be acquired are a proper and necessary public purpose.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by
Member Carlson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Bies, Carlson, Garis, Stockman, and Teresi; and the follow-
ing voted against the same: None, whereupon said resol-dtion was declared
duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested
by the Clerk.
