#437 06-04-68 Order Bituminous Surfacing 68-BS-31 Curb and Gutter 68-CG-18Resolution No. 437 June 4, 1968 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Proposed Bitum1nous Surfacing - 68 BS 31, Proposed Curb and Gutter - 68 CG 18) (MSAs 395.01) BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 8:00 o'clock, P.M., at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the view of all persons interedted and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for the said Village, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice, except as follows: 4. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of said proposed public improvements, and is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date. Mayor 2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and Village Clerk not in connection with some other improvements. (The Council reserves the of the foregoing right to consolidate said improvements with other public improvements if vote being taken it seems advisable to do so.) voted in favor thereof: Bies, Carlson, Stockman, and Teresi; and the follow- ing voted against the same: None, whereupon duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid in part out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The Village Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of said proposed public improvements, and is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements and submit the same to the Village Council for approval at the earliest possible date. Mayor Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Carlson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Carlson, Stockman, and Teresi; and the follow- ing voted against the same: None, whereupon duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, said resolution was declared and his signature attested by the Clerk.
