Member Carlson introduced and read the following written resolution and
MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
(Proposed Watermain - 69 WM 1, 3, 4,)
(Proposed Concrete Curb and Gutter - 69 CG 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and)
(Proposed Sanitary Sewer - 69 IF 1, 2)
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifi-
cations for proposed watermain, concrete curb and gutter and danitary
sewer construction and has presented such plans and specifications to
the Council for its approval; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley:
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved.
2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in THE GOLDEN VALLEY SUN and THE CONSTRUCTION BULLETIN .At
Advertisement for Bids for making such improvements under
such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published once in each of said publications no less
than three weeks before the last day for submission of bids,
shall specify the work -to be done, shall state that bids
shall be opened and considered by the Village Manager, Clerk,
and Engineer at 11:00 o'clock, A.M., July 14, 1969 in the
Council Chambers and that no bids shall be considered unless
sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by
a cash deposit, money order, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the Village Clerk for five percent
(5%) of the amount of such bid. Said bids shall be considered
by the Village Council at its meeting on July 15, 1969 at
8:00 o'clock, P.M., in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Stockman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members
voted in favor thereof: Carlson, Garis, Stockzgan and Teresi; and the follow-
ing voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared
duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested
by the Clerk. 0
