Member Stockman introduced and read the following written resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
(Proposed Concrete Curb and.Gutter - 69 CG 8 & 9, 10, & 11)
Proposed Watermain - 69 WM 6)
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifica-
tions for proposed (concrete curb and gutter and watermain construction
(Proposed Concrete Curb and Gutter - 69 CG, 9,10,11, and Proposed Water -
main - 69 WM 6) and has presented such plans and specifications to the
Council for its approval; NOW, THEREFORE,
Valley: BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved.
2. That the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be insert-
ed in THE GOLDEN VALLEY SUN and THE CONSTRUCTION BULLETIN an Advertise-
ment for Bids for making such improvements under such approved plans and
specifications. The advertisement shall be published once in each of said
publications no less than three weeks before the last day for submission
of bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state the time that the
bids shall be opened and considered by the Village Manager, Clerk, and
Engineer in the Council chambers and that no bids shall be considered un-
less sealed and filed with the Village Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, money order, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable
to the Village Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Member Carlson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Carlson, Garis, Stock-
man, and Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed
by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk.
