#046 06-17-69 Provide Hearing Improvements 89-SS-1V e7 Resolution No. 46 June 17, 1969 Member Stockman introduced and read the following written resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (Proposed Storm Sewer - 69 SS 1) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398 Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct certain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: $500,217.72 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph I hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in THE GOLDEN VALLEY SUN, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated July 3, 1969, and the last of said publications to be in the issue dated July 10, 1969. Such notice shall be substantially as in the attached form: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING on PROPOSED STORM SEWER 69 ss 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on July 15, 1969 at 8:00 p.m. CDST, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said Village, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed public improvements.
