Member Stockman introduced and read the following written resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
(Proposed Storm Sewer - 69 SS 1)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398 Session
Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct certain
proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form
of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof.
2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council
advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements
are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in
connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated
cost of the improvements as follows:
$500,217.72
3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in
the form of notice included in Paragraph I hereof for the purpose of
holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described
therein.
4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the
time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive
weeks in THE GOLDEN VALLEY SUN, the official newspaper of the Village, the
first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated July 3,
1969, and the last of said publications to be in the issue dated July 10,
1969. Such notice shall be substantially as in the attached form:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on July 15, 1969 at 8:00 p.m.
CDST, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road,
in said Village, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed
public improvements.
The Village Engineer estimates that the entire cost of this improvement will
be $500,217.72.
The type of improvement and the area where said improvement will be con-
structed and which it will serve is as follows:

Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of Golden Valley
Road with the East line of the Northwest One -Quarter (NW61/4) of Section
32, Township 118, Range 21; thence Northeasterly along the centerline of
Golden Valley Road to its intersection with the centerline of the Minne-
apolis, Northfield and Southern Railroad Right -of -Way; thence Northerly
along said centerline to its intersection with the Westerly extension of
