#066 09-02-69 Approve Contract 69-CG-20M Resolution No. 66 September 2, 1969 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING CONTRACT CHANGES PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES 429.0141, SUBD. 7 (Proposed Concrete Curb & Gutter - 69 -CG -20) WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifi- cations for the above proposed public improvement construction and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for its approval, NOW, THEREFORE, Valley: BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden 1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. WHEREAS, a certain contract was entered into on July 15, 1969, with Cedar Concrete Company, Inc., for public improvements 69 -*W-2, 69 -CG -1,2,3,6,8,9,10, and 11 and awareded on a unit price basis with a total contract price of $32,137.50; and WHEREAS, on September 2, 1969, the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley did order construction of proposed public im- provement (69 -CG -20); and WHEREAS, the aforesaid improvment 69 -CG -20 does not, on the same price basis, exceed 25% of the original contract price; The Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized to change the contract of July 15, 1969 with Cedar Concrete Company, Inc., for 69 - CW -2, 69 -CG -1,2,3,6,8,9,10, and 11, so as to include the additional units of work at the same unit price providing for the construction of public improvement 69 -CG -20 when the said contractor shall h�}ve furnished the Contractors bond in the amount of the additional work as required by law.
