#097 10-21-69 Approve Joint Sewer AgreementJ-43 Resolution No. 97 October 21, 1969 Member Garis introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION Requesting Actions of the Village of Plymouth on Joint Sanitary Sewer Agreement with Golden Valley WHEREAS, Plymouth Village has been pumping sewage into the Golden Valley system in excess of the agreement between Plymouth and Golden Valley, dated November 1964, and the subsequent agreement of January, 1966, and WHEREAS, such pumping is overloading the Golden Valley sanitary sewer caus- ing sewer back-ups within Golden Valley, and WHEREAS, increasing sewer connections and flows will originate in Plymouth prior to completion of T.H. #55 force main, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Golden Valley Council requests a reply from Plymouth within thirty days on what actions they propose to relieve the short range problem including the construction of holding tanks as provided in the agreement; That in the meantime they restrict their pumping at Highway 18 and Highway 55, and at Highway 18 and 17th Avenue, to the maximums agreed upon; That Plymouth be requested under the agreement to reimburse Golden Valley for Village costs already paid out and claims against Golden Valley by reason of the excess sewage; That Plymouth check and repair the metering devices at the pumps pumping into the Golden Valley system. Cliff Teresi, Mayor Attest: Helen Penniman, Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stockman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Garis, Stockman and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
