#115 02-02-70 Authorize Conveyance Tax Forfeited Land 644-C1 1 1 Resolution No. 115 February 2, 1970 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: "RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEITED LAND" (List x,644 -C'') WHEREAS, it appears that certain parcels of land have been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes, and said parcels are needed by the Village of Golden Valley for street purposes, and ponding and drainage purposes and having been used for several years: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that the Mayor and Village Clerk be hereby authorized to make application to the County Board of Hennepin County and the State Tax Commissioner for the conveyance of the following described parcels of Tax -forfeited land to the Village of Golden Valley for street, ponding and drainage purposes: For Street Purposes: For Ponding Purposes: Attest: Village Clerk Cumberland Hills, 3rd Addition Outlot 1 David Addition Outlot 1 Mayor -' The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Paulson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Bies, Jensen, Paulson, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
