#131 05-04-70 Vacate 26th Avenue N and Dresden LaneResolution No. 131 May 4, 1970 Member Jensen introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (Street Vacation - 26th Avenue North and Dresden Lane) WHEREAS, a Petition of the majority of the owners of real property on the street described below has been duly filed with the Village Council, and said Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published and has heard all interested parties and it appearing in the interest of the public that said portion of said public street be vacated, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that said portion of said public street lying within the corporate limits of said Village described below, as the same is now laid out and dedicated within the said limits of the said Village, be, and the same is hereby vacated: All that part of 26th Avenue North as dedicated in Deed Document Number 3413518 filed for record within the Hennepin County Register of Deeds on June 24, 1963 in Book 2395 of Deeds, page 174, except the West 30 feet of the South 25 feet thereof, and except the East 60 feet thereof. The North 5 feet of Dresden Lane as laid out and filed for record in the Plat of Cumberland Hills 3rd Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Mayor Attest: 'Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Paulson, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof; Bies, Jensen, Paulson, Stockman, and Teresi; and the follow- ing voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
