#182 10-05-70 Approve SP2723-41, 46 EtcD 2 7 el Resolution No. 182 October 5, 1970 Member Paulson introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (S.P. 2723-41 & 46; S.P. 2752-24 (55-188) ) WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared plans, special pro- visions, and specifications for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway No. 55 on Federal Aid System Route Number F 022-1 which is considered to be a high priority project for the purpose of increasing capacity and safety within the corporate limits of the Village of Golden Valley at the intersection of Winnetka Ave. Douglas Drive, Glenwood Parkway, and Boone Ave.;and, WHEREAS said plans are on file in the office of the Department of High- ways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and identified as S.P. 2723- 41 & 46, and 2752-24 (55-188); and WHEREAS, said special provisions are onfile in the office of the De- partment of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and ident- ified as ;3.P. 2723-41 & 46 & 2752-24 (55-188) which, together with the Minnesota Department of Highways Specifications for Highway construction, dated January 1, 1968, as amended by Supplemental Specifications, dated July 1, 1969, on file in the office of the Commissioner of Highways, constitute the specifications for said improvement of Trunk Highway Number 55 renumbered as Trunk Highway No. F 022-1; and WHEREAS, copies of said plans and special provisions as so marked, labeled, and identified are also on file in the office of the Village Clerk; and WHEREAS, the term "said plans in the body of this resolution shall and incorporate the plans and special ieularly identified and described. and special provisions" as hereinafter used be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, provisions in the foregoing recitals part - NOW, THE, BE IT RESOLVED that said plans and special provisions for the improvement of Trunk Highway No. 55 on Federal Aid System Route Number F 022-1 within the limits of the Village of Golden Valley be and hereby are approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the elevations and grades as shown in said plans and special provisions be and they are hereby approved and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by the construction of said Trunk Highway No. 55 on Federal Aid Sytem Route Number F 022-1 in accord- ance with said plans and special provisions. Upon the call of the roll, the following members voted in favor of the Resolution: Bies, Jensen, Paulson, Stockman, and Teresi; the following members voted against its adoption: None, whereupnn the Mayor and presiding officer declared the Resolution adopted.
