Resolution No. 205 December 7, 1970
Member Jensen introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION
(Easement Vacation - Glenwood Hills Hospital)
WHEREAS, a Petition of the majority of the owners of real property
adjacent to the tract of land described below has been duly filed with the
Village Council, and said Council has met at the time and place specified in
a notice duly published and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing
that in the interest of the public that that certain easement over the follow-
ing described tract of land be vacated, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Golden Valley that the afore-
said easement over the following described tract of land, be, and the same is
hereby vacated:
A. perpetual easement to the Village of Golden Valley for purposes
of providing access to the Reservoir located on Minneapolis Park
Property, said easement being in, on, over and across that part
of Section 18, Township 29, Range 24, being a strip of land
40 feet in width and 20 feet on each side of the following des-
cribed center line, to -wit: Beginning at a point in the East
line of said section, distant 1690 feet South of the East Quarter
corner of said section; thence Northwesterly, at an angle of
430 to the East line of said section (reading from North to West),
to an intersection with a line parallel with and 20 feet West
of the East line of said section, thence North along said parallel
line 199.33 feet; thence Northwesterly deflecting to the left
590141, a distance of 308.06 feet; thence Northeasterly deflecting
to the right at an angle of 950141, a distance of 45 feet; thence
Northerly on a tangential curve to the left, with a radius of
524.85 feet, a distance of 329.76 feet to an intersection with a
line parallel with and 160 feet West of the East line of said
section; thence North along last said parallel line to the South
line of County Road No. 66, and there terminating, all in
Hennepin County, Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by
Member Paulson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Bies, Jensen, Paulson, Stockman, and Teresi; and the follow-
ing voted against the same: None, whereupon the resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
