Member Hoover introduced and read the following resolution:
RESOLUTION
(Street Vacation - Portion of Betty Crocker Drive)
WHEREAS, the Petition of the majority of the owners of real property adja-
cent to the streets described below has been duly filed with the Village
Council, and said Council has met at the time and place specified in a
notice duly published and has heard all interested persons, and it
appearing in the interest of the public that said portion of said public
street be vacated, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
By the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that said portion
of said public street lying within the corporate limits of said Village as
described below, as the same is now laid out and dedicated within the said
limits of the said Village, be, and the same now is thereby vacated:
That part of a strip of land lying within the Southeast quarter
(SE -;'i) of Section 31, Township 118, Range 21, said strip being
eighty (80) feet in width and being forty (40) feet on each side
of and measured perpendicular to the following described center-
line: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section 31; thence
North along the West line of Southwest quarter a distance of
284.09 feet. thence North 86 degrees 49 minutes 30 seconds East
a distance of 117.35 feet; thence Northeasterly along a tangential
curve to the left with a radius of 584.07 feet (delta angle 24
degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds, tangent distance 124.15 feet) a
distance of 244.06 feet; thence South 27 degrees 10 minutes
30 seconds East a distance of 25.0 feet; thence North 62 degrees
49 minutes 30 seconds East a distance of 202.83 feet; thence South
27 degrees 10 minutes 30 seconds East a distance of 50.0 feet to
the actual Point OF BEGINNING OF THE CENTERLINE to be described;
thence Northeasterly and Easterly along a curve to the right with
a radius of 1200.0 feet (the back tangent of said curve has a
bearing of South 62 degrees 49 minutes 30 seconds West, delta
angle 53 degrees 37 minutes, tangent distance 606.38 feet) a
distance of 1122.94 feet; thence continuing Southeasterly along
the extension of the tangent of last described curve, a distance of
480.13 feet; thence Southeasterly and Easterly along a curve to
the left with a radius of 954.93 feet (delta angle 26 degrees
09 minutes, 45 seconds, tangent distance 221.89 feet) a distance
of 436.04 feet; thence continuing Easterly, along the extension
of the tangent of last described curve, to the East line of the
Southwest quarter (SW -41) of Section 31, Township 118, Range 21,
and there terminating.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by
Member Paulson, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in
favor thereof: Hoover, Paulson, and Teresi; and the following voted against
the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
