Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL
STATE AID HIGHWAYS
(Colorado Avenue South From Laurel Avenue
to Wavzata Boulevard)
WHEREAS, it appears to the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley, that the street hereinafter described should be designated a
Municipal State Aid Street under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1959,
Chapter 500:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village
of Golden Valley that the road described as follows, to wit:
Colorado Avenue South from Laurel Avenue to
Wayzata Boulevard
be, and hereby is established, located and designated a Municipal State
Aid Street of said Village, subject to the approval of the Commissioner
of Highways of the State of Minnesota.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk is herebv authorized
and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the
Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon bis approval
of the designation of said road or portion thereof, that same be constructed,
improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the Village of
Golden Valley, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Street 417.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Ulstad, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members
voted in favor thereof: Hoover, Riggs, Stockman and Ulstad; and the
following members voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his sig
nature attested by the Village Clerk.
