#328 01-17-72 Authorize Agreement Metropolitan Sewer Board160 Resolution No. 328 January 17, 1972 Member Hoover introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (Authorising Maintenance Agreement with Metropolitan Sewer Board) WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Sewer Board has solicited the Village of Golden Valley for assistance in maintaining certain interceptors and appurtenances owned by said Metropolitan Sewer Board; and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Sewer Board has determined that the maintenance of said system can best be provided by contracting with the Village of Golden Valley for such services, and the Village is willing to provide such assistance on the basis of a contract speci- fying the terms and conditions thereof; and WHEREAS, it is possible for the Village of Golden Valley and the Metropolitan Sewer Board to enter into an agreement for the pur- poses aforesaid pursuant to the joint and mutual exercise of their powers given under the statutes of the state of Minnesota; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council for the Village of Golden Valley that it hereby authorises and approves the entry by the Village of Golden Valley into a written agreement with the Metropolitan Sewer Board for the Village to provide and perform maintenance services respecting sewer interceptors and appurten- ances owned by the Metropolitan Sewer Board and located within the Village limits of the Village of Golden Valley. RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Mayor and the Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute the foregoing Agreement for and on behalf of the Village of Golden Valley.
