#341 04-03-72 Provide Hearing Improvement 72-SI-3Resolution No. 341 April 3 , 1972 Member Ulstad intoduced the following_ resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (72 -SI -3) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398 Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct cer- tain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improve- ments are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: $3,559.50 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the pur- pose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improve- ments as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in THE GOLD04 VALLEY SUN, the official news- paper of the Village, the first of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated May 39, 1972, and the last of said pub- lications to be in the issue dated May 10, 1972• Such notice shall be substantially the same as in the attached form. —7 Mayor Attest: Village Clerk Resolution No. 311 April 3 . 1972 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stockman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following mem- bers voted in favor thereof: Hoover, Paulson, Riggs, Stockman, and Ulstad; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk. �l L
