#430 10-02-72 Agreement County Traffic Control Signals327 Resolution No. 430 October 2, 1972 Member Paulson introduced the following resolution and LVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (Authorizing Agreement with Hennepin County for Traffic Control Signals) WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it advisable that traffic control signals be installed at the intersection of Winnetka Avenue and Plymouth Avenue within the Village of Golden Valley, and also at the intersection of Winnetka Avenue and Olympia Street within the Village of Golden Valley; and WHEREAS, funds are available for the construction of said traffic control signals through the use of the State Aid Construction Account; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council for the Village of Golden Valley that the Village of Golden Valley enter into an agreement with the County of Hennepin: To install full traffic actuated traffic control signals with mast arms and integral street lights on County State Aid Highway No. 156 (Winnetka Avenue) at its intersections with Olympia Street and Plymouth Avenue, in accordance with the terms and conditions of Agreement PW -23-13-72, with copies of such Agreement being before the Council; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Agreement be in all things approved, and that the Mayor and Manager be and hereby are authorized to execute said Agreement and thereby assume for and on behalf of the Village all of the contractual obligations contained therein; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village's share of the construction and engineering costs of said project, as provided for in paragraph VIII of the aforesaid Agreement, be, and the same is, charged to the State Aid Construction Account. Mayor' Attest: Village Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Stockman, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Hoover, Paulson, Riggs, Stockman, and Ulstad; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
